1. What a weekend for the local college football teams. BYU and Utah scored 59 and 58 points, respectively, in their blowout victories over UCLA and Utah State. I didn't catch any of the Utah game or even read about it, but I was at the BYU victory and it was a very fun game. BYU was hitting them hard and creating turnovers. It was a game that will go in the annals of Lavell Edwards Stadium history.
2. This week BYU hosts Wyoming. The Cowboys struggled to two close wins over Ohio and North Dakota State, while suffering a blowout loss at home to Air Force. I don't think BYU will win by 59 points, but they'll still win this game easily. MY PREDICTION: BYU 45, Wyoming 13.
3. Utah travels to Air Force in what could be their last major road test of the season (the Utes host both TCU and BYU). I think this game will be low-scoring. Utah will have a difficult time stopping the Falcons' rushing attack with their thin defensive line. MY PREDICTION: Air Force 21, Utah 20.
4. Everyone is making a big deal of the Mountain West Conference winning all four games they played last week against PAC 10 opponents. It is hard for me to get too hyped up over it. After all, how many times have the PAC 10 teams eaten all these MWC teams for dessert? Another note: all four games were in MWC venues. I think if the games were played in PAC 10 stadiums, the Mountain West teams would have probably gone 2-2 or 1-3.
5. If the season were to end today, this is what I think the BCS match-ups would be:
National Championship Game: USC vs. Oklahoma
Rose Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Oregon
Fiesta Bowl: Missouri vs. BYU
Sugar Bowl: South Florida vs. Georgia
Orange Bowl: Wake Forest vs. Florida

I am pretty sure that UNLV won in Tempe against #15 ranked Arizona State.
