Rankings Explanation

As I begin to announce the Joe Rankings Preseason Top 25, I thought this a good opportunity to explain and remind everyone what my Rankings are all about.

The Joe Rankings is the most accurate rankings system in the world. This is because the Rankings reflect what a team has actually accomplished on the field of play. It does not take into account past seasons, preseason hype, BCS bias, or any other outside factor. It simply measures a team's accomplishments on the actual field of play relative to other teams.

I have posted the Joe Preseason Rankings, which will have no bearing whatsoever on the rankings once the season begins. But the Preseason Rankings are a reflection of where each team deserves to be ranked based on past performance and preseason expectations.
